Union Lido humourAs you can see, this frighteningly crisp image was taken during a rather scary moment in August when a rogue African crocodile entered the shallow waters near the Union Lido private beach. Lucky for the fellow swimmers, Jamie Connor was on hand to tackle the reptilian foe. The fight went on for a good 10 minutes whilst onlookers looked on. Jamie managed to subdue the beast and has since adopted it at the local reptilian house zoo somewhere in the Italian area.
